When it runs the test, WinRunner looks for the Open dialog box and the Open button represented in the test script. The GUI map files are maintained separately from test scripts and the same GUI map file (or files) can be used for multiple tests.įor example, if the user clicks the Open button in an Open dialog box, WinRunner records the action and generate a script.
